The Evansville Brewery Beer Garden will happen on Saturday, May 29, from 2-7 p.m. at Adams Avenue and Putnam Streets just east of Haynie’s Corner. A $20 pre-purchased sampling ticket will get you unlimited beer samples from Carson’ Brewery, Damsel Brew Pub, Haynie’s Corner Brewing Co., Myriad Brewing and the Ohio Valley Homebrewers Association between 2-4 p.m. After 4 p.m., live music begins and beer will be sold by the pint. No ticket is necessary for entry after 4 p.m. Food trucks will be on hand. This event is for those 21 and over. A portion of proceeds will benefit Patchwork Central.
The Evansville Food Truck Festival will happen on Sunday, May 30 from 1-9 p.m. at Bosse Field. Over 25 food trucks from Evansville and surrounding states will gather to serve you specialties from barbecue to tacos to ice cream. There will be a hot dog eating contest, live music, kid’s activities, hot air balloon rides, craft beer and more. Tickets are $7.95 until May 29 and $10 at the door. A portion of proceeds will benefit Cancer Pathways Midwest (formerly Gilda’s Club).

Flemm’s Smoke House is a members-only lounge opening on Saturday, May 29. The Washington Avenue spot will be a place for members to enjoy cigars, hookah, food, drinks, events and space for events rental. Membership is open to those 30 years or older. Fee is $200 per year or $20 per month.

Lunch on the Lawn will happen on Friday, May 28, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on the lawn of the Old Vanderburgh County Courthouse. Enjoy a variety of Evansville’s favorite food trucks with live music in pretty Bicentennial Park. Park for free across the street at the Soldiers and Sailors Coliseum at 300 Court Street.

Mo’s House will host a Memorial Day cookout and dance on Sunday, May 30 from 4-7 p.m. On the menu are bratwurst, potato salad, and baked beans with cake and cheesecake for dessert. Enjoy them with a beer or one of Mo’s signature crafted cocktails.
