LANCASTER – Anna Ruff is no stranger when it comes to new businesses in Lancaster’s downtown area.
Ruff owns a cluster of buildings in the downtown area that house multiple businesses, including JB’s Downtown Grill and Paperback Exchange, as well as an events center in Amanda. This time, Ruff and her cousin, George Natsios, will have the chance to run their own business – Fruit Passion.
Ruff said she wanted to give people a quick and healthy food option in a convenient location.
“When you walk downtown, we have so many wonderful areas,” Ruff said. “I just wanted to do something that was a quick grab-and-go of healthy options.”
According to the Fruit Passion website, customers will be able to purchase organic playa bowls, protein bites, coffee, tea, and other items to be added at a later time.
For those looking for something more decadent, however, Fruit Passion will also serve Hershey’s brand ice cream. Ruff said Fruit Passion will be the only place within the heart of Lancaster’s downtown area where visitors can walk in for ice cream.
Fruit Passion is located at 207 W. Main St. near the Paperback Exchange, and is the former location of Rabbit and Rocket.
