Lydia and Will Chambers’ popular ice cream truck Little Ladies Soft Serve is nearing the grand opening of its first brick-and-mortar storefront. The ice cream shop will debut Friday, Nov. 19, at 673 Worthington Road in Westerville. Customers can choose from a variety of soft serve flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and more, plus toppings like sprinkles, Oreos and Cocoa Pebbles. 

Last week, Budd Dairy Food Hall announced that two new businesses will join as rotating vendors this month. First up is Fourteen Twenty Nine bakery, which debuts in Budd Dairy’s Sugar incubator space on Tuesday, Nov. 16. Baker Amanda Caldwell’s social enterprise bakery offers brownies, blondies, cookies and cakes and also works to bring empowerment and equity to trafficking survivors in Columbus. In addition, Pablo’s Havana Cafe will join Budd Dairy’s Hatch incubator space on Nov. 22. The Powell eatery, owned by chef Pablo Taura, is known for its Cuban sandwiches, picadillo, tostones and more.
